Clashes between police and protesters in Bogota, Colombia

Protests in Colombia ended in clashes with police in the capital Bogota on Friday 14 May. It was the 17th day of the country's national strike protests. The demonstrations began in opposition to a tax reform plan and spread to include complaints about the economy, inequality, pandemic handling and violence by police, including alleged sexual abuse by officers in the city of Popayan.
