Class A drugs, cash and weapons seized in North Devon drugs warrant

Class A drugs and weapons were among the items seized by police officers carrying out several warrants across North Devon. Devon and Cornwall Police executed six warrants in the area, including on three streets in Barnstaple, on Friday, November 15 after receiving tip-offs from members of the public.

Police raided addresses in Victoria Road, Brewer Road and Tawcroft Way, Devon and Cornwall Police said in a statement on social media. Posting to X, formerly Twitter, the account said around £1,500 worth of suspected Class A drugs were seized, along with weapons, cash and digital evidence.

Suspected stolen items were also seized during the operation. Three men and two women are under investigation on suspicion of drugs supply and other drug offences, the force said.

The police X account wrote: "On Friday 15 November, six warrants were executed across addresses in North Devon targeting individuals identified by police intelligence as being concerned in the supply of Class A and Class B drugs. The activity included warrants on addresses on Victoria Road, Brewer Road and Tawcroft Way.

"The team were also supported by officers from the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit @SWROCU. About £1,500 worth of suspected class A drugs was seized, alongside weapons, a quantity of cash and digital evidence.

"A number of suspected stolen goods were also seized from the properties. Three men and two women remain under investigation on suspicion of drugs supply and other drug offences.
