Yahoo News Classic Game of Thrones set destroyed by Storm Doris
Storm Doris has been wreaking all sorts of havoc across the UK, taking out weather presenters and shutting down filming without a second thought.
But now Doris has claimed another TV victim, destroying part of a classic Game of Thrones set in her wake. (Winter finally arrived, then.)
Doris took down a number of trees in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, which were used to make up the Dark Hedges in the road from King's Landing.
Lining the road for Arya, Gendry, Yoren and Hot Pie (remember them?), the trees along King's Road guided the gang as they tried to escape to the Night's Watch in season two.
Although it's always sad to see a part of TV history - and nature, of course - dismantled, the trail of chaos and destruction left under Doris will fit right in with the upcoming season of Game of Thrones.
Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) recently revealed that season 7 promises to bring characters 'crashing down' together before heading to a huge cliffhanger. Excellent.
"It's just kind of tumbling now. We've come to the climax and it's rolling down to the end. It's exciting," Maisie admitted.

"Every character came to a little junction in their lives. Now we're all going to crash down together to however this show ends."
