Clean-up Efforts Seen in Trier in Aftermath of Devastating Flooding

Clean-up efforts took place in Ehrang in Trier, Germany, on July 18 after the village was hit by flooding.

A total of 117 people are now confirmed to have died in Rhineland-Palatinate state, a police spokesman told AFP. The death toll across Europe rose to at least 180 on Sunday.

In her Instagram post, Melissa Dzafic has made an appeal for donations of items such as sofas, washing machines, bed frames, and food for animals.

She left the message, “Stay safe my friends.”
