The glass door on your oven is often the most obvious place where dirt and grime build-up, making it a tough challenge to clean without risking damage to the surface if not done properly.

This job tends to be one of the less enjoyable domestic duties, particularly when faced with persistent food marks and grease splatters that gather during cooking.

However, an easier cleaning solution has been discovered by a cleaning aficionado, bypassing the usual reliance on dish soap or homemade baking soda and vinegar concoctions.

Taking to the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook group, Kelly Jayne Gill shared her successful cleaning attempt. She uploaded before-and-after pictures demonstrating her initially stain-plagued oven glass and its subsequent pristine condition following the use of a specific product, reports the Express.

Kelly divulged her trick: "Yeah my oven door covered in filthy stains. Didn't realise I could take the glass out, anyway look at this. Elbow Grease and warm water. B****y brilliant stuff."

She described her method as simply spraying the cleaner, waiting for five minutes, then wiping the grime away using an ordinary sponge.

With just two small screws to remove, her oven door was effortlessly transformed.

For various oven door designs, she mentioned that some might feature sliding mechanisms or clips allowing for easy removal.

To ensure effective cleaning of the glass nestled within your oven door panels, checking your oven's manual for tailored instructions on accessing the glass is highly recommended. If you've misplaced the manual for your oven, don't fret; a quick internet search with your oven's brand and model should help you locate it without any hassle.

When quizzed on where to snap up the Elbow Grease spray, Kelly revealed several budget-friendly choices.

She disclosed: "I got mine from Poundland, but Savers, Home Bargains and BandM all usually have it from around 89p to £1.20."
