Climate crisis: Detroit submerged, as cities around the world battle floods

Parts of Detroit were submerged on Friday 16 July, as floods hit Wayne County Community College District. Floods have inundated towns around the world in the past few days, from India to Europe and even parts of Arizona in the US south. Scientists say that such extreme weather events have been made much more likely by climate change. State Police secured the scene and re-directed traffic while crew workers put out barrels to redirect traffic. The freeway backed up from Wayne County Community College District to the city's TFC Center.
