Close Up of Lucky Seal Escaping Hunting Orcas

Kirk Fraser was out whale-watching with family visiting British Columbia for his wedding when he filmed a very lucky seal scrambling onto his boat to escape a pod of orcas on the hunt. The seal, which Fraser subsequently dubbed “Gerald”, jumped onto the boat and squeezed between the engines to avoid the jaws of the killer whales. The original videos of the event went viral and these are some close-up videos of the seal on board the boat.
