The 6'1" forward has already made 32 senior appearances for his boyhood club, managing three goals and one assist in that run. With his contract due to expire in December 2025, these top clubs have now reportedly been placed on alert and an unnamed few are reported to have submitted offers to both Vasco da Gama and the player's representatives.

The Brazilian Serie A outfit find themselves in a precarious situation. President Pedrinho has admitted the club's need to make sales to secure their future financially.

"The club generates some revenue and need to generate more to honour its commitments and pay salaries on time,” he said, as quoted by O Dia. On the player in question specifically, he added: "Rayan is an asset to the club. Obviously, some clubs are looking at him, they are interested, and we evaluate the proposal very carefully. A player who can yield good results, not only momentarily, but also for the future, financially. There are discussions."
