Coastguards and K9 team launch search for owner of kayak in Co Down
The Belfast Coastguard has issued an appeal for information after an inflatable kayak, and other equipment, was found in Co Down.
A blue inflatable kayak, paddles and a bag was located at Stricklands Glen, in Bangor, on Thursday evening. Searches are ongoing across Co Down, with a number of agencies involved.
The Bangor Coastguard Rescue Team said: "Urgent appeal for information. Search ongoing at Strickland Glen, Bangor for the owner of a blue inflatable kayak, paddles an bag.

"Any one with information contact Coastguard on 999 or message this page."
A spokesperson for Belfast Coastguard shared a photo of the kayak and said: "Do you recognise this inflatable kayak? It has been located at Stricklands Glen, Bangor.
"Coastguard Rescue Teams from Bangor and Portaferry, assisted by Bangor lifeboat and K9 Search and Rescue.
"Please call us ASAP, if you have any information."
