Coatbridge industrial estate blaze at 'dog training centre' as black smoke rises from scene

Fire crews battled a blaze at a dog training centre in Coatbridge on Sunday morning.

A column of black smoke was seen rising from the Northburn Industrial Estate on Cameron Street around 10.30am. The fire is unrelated to the two chemical spills that sparked major emergency responses earlier this month, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed.

On Sunday evening, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed firefighters were no longer in attendance and that there were no injuries in the incident. The fire was at a dog training centre within the industrial estate, the Daily Record reports.
