The Rookie season 4 has reeled in Peyton List to portray Sergeant Tim's little sister Genny Bradford.

Boasting credits in Cobra Kai, Hubie Halloween and Diary of a Wimpy Kid, the 23-year-old's character has been described by TVLine as someone not to be messed with.

Set for introduction in the eighth episode, Genny will turn up out of the blue to try and convince her brother to repair and sell their father Tom's house.

Appearing in the ninth episode will be James Remar as Tom himself, who movie buffs will recognise from gems such as The Warriors, Miracle on 34th Street, Django Unchained and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Up to now, details on the Bradford clan are pretty scarce, other than the fact that Tim's old man "would tune me up on the regular" when he was just a kid.
