Cocaine dealer from 'AJ drug line' jailed after police intercepted messages
A man arranging the sale of Class A drugs between Tamworth and the West Midlands has been jailed for more than four years. Proactive officers started an investigation into the 'AJ drug line' after arrests of suspected drug runners in Tamworth.
Staffordshire Police said messages showed 30-year-old Lentine Shaw had been directing people to sell the drugs in the area, leading to his arrest in Coventry last August.
Officers are continuing to work alongside regional police forces in the Midlands to target serious and organised crime groups committing high-harm offences in our communities.

Shaw, of no fixed address, admitted being concerned in the supply of heroin, crack cocaine and possession of criminal property. He was sentenced during a hearing at Stafford Crown Court on Monday, January 20.
Drug lines often involve young people who are coerced into criminality by sophisticated career criminals. Police said they will act robustly against those responsible for these crimes and continue to work closely with partners to identify exploitation in Staffordshire.
