A coffee house is to expand into its own premises on the coast after a "roaring start" in the city centre.

Folks Coffee Co. has announced its plans to expand to Westgate Street, Blakeney, after starting up at Yalm in the Royal Arcade in Norwich back in November.

The business is run by Harry Vergerson, 26, alongside his twin bother Jack and their friend Jack Edwards, 30 and was started through their love of having a chat over coffee.

Mr Vergerson, from Aylsham, said: "We love the coast, it is the pivotal point of Norfolk and the opportunity arose after a roaring start at Yalm.

"We will simply be offering great coffee, great pastries and ice creams - a place for folks to sit and relax and meet people over coffee.

"All three of us are from Norfolk and were looking to do something together when they opportunity came up at Yalm.

"The coast and the city are the biggest points in Norfolk."

The pastries for Yalm are produced by independent bakeries such as Frå.kost, and these will be sent over to the Blakeney branch.

The trio hope to open in early April.
