New coffee shop set for Magherafelt

A new coffee shop is set for South Derry with the owners teasing a "fast approaching" opening date.

Mamó Magherafelt is set to open at Broad Street in the town centre, with the same address as the former 'Overload' ice cream shop premises.

Staff are being recruited with the owners promising "speciality coffee" and "nutritious food" in a "warm and relaxing environment".

An official opening date for the new coffee shop hasn't been given but, in a social media post, the owners of Mamó Magherafelt said: "Our goal is to create a space for connection within our community and we are delighted to say we are fast approaching our opening date.

"If you share our passion for nutritious and delicious food. Speciality coffee and friendly service we would love to hear from you. We have both part and full time positions available for people of all experience levels."
