Colburn Jet garage: Several people rushed to hospital after 'serious incident'
Several people have been taken to hospital after an incident at a garage in Colburn.
Emergency services were alerted to a "serious incident" at Jet garage on Catterick Road around 12noon today (Friday, November 22). The unknown incident has led to several casualties being taken to hospital and the North Yorkshire site to be closed for some time.
Fire Crews have remained on site to make it safe with foam and sand as well as isolating fuel pumps. They are now removing the vehicles from the area.

Richmond Fire Service spokesman said: "An incident at the Jet garage Colburn will mean it will be closed for sometime. Crews made scene safe with foam covering jet and sand used to cover fuel across forecourt.
"Staff were quick in acting and isolated the fuel pumps straight away. Casualties have been taken to hospital and cars being removed. Crews will be leaving following the removal of vehicles."
