Cold Front Whips Up Dust Storm on Warm Denver Day

Temperatures plummeted in Denver on October 9 as a cold front swept over the city, whipping up a dust storm. Temperatures dropped from 80 degrees to 48 degrees over a two-hour period, the Denver Post reported.

Parts of Colorado experienced a dryer that normal end to the summer, with drought conditions reported in some areas in September. The cold front whipped up some of the dust caused by those conditions, according to local reports.
