Cold Temperatures Bring Rare Snow to Blackheath in the Blue Mountains

Cold temperatures brought snowfall to Blackheath in the New South Wales Blue Mountains on August 9.

Temperatures stayed in the low single-figures for most of the Sunday, falling to close to zero degrees Celsius at around 5 pm, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.

The New South Wales State Emergency Service said the snowfall did not create any significant issues in the area, according to reports.
