Coleen Nolan paid £200k for six-week panto stint - how much are other panto stars earning?

Coleen Nolan is taking home a staggering £200,000 for a six-week stint as the Fairy Godmother in Bradford’s pantomime production of Cinderella this Christmas, it has been reported.

The 52-year-old Loose Women star is believed to be the highest paid panto star of the season, with Julian Clary raking in around £192,000 for playing Spirit of the Bells at the London Palladium’s production of Dick Whittington.

Theatre legend Elaine Paige is reportedly the third highest earner, receiving £160,000 as Queen Rat in the same production, and singer Beverley Knight getting £150,000 as Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother for 72 shows in Birmingham.

Coleen’s famous ex-husband, Shane Richie, is said to be being paid £120,000 to star as Robin Hood in Woking.

A source told The Mirror: “Coleen is one of the best-known faces on TV and is popular with every generation, so she’s a massive coup.

“She’s earning a hell of a lot of money, but she’s working hard for it. They all are.

“Panto looks easy, but it takes a lot of skill and rehearsal after rehearsal. It’s intense.

“You have to be an extremely accomplished stage performer to be able to pull it off and it’s big business so the competition is fierce.”

Other celebs said to be pocketing a huge panto salary this festive season include Brian Conley and Bradley Walsh (£120,000), and Craig Revel Horwood (£100,000).

Needless to say, we’re willing to bet that these celebs will be having a very merry Christmas.
