Coleen Nolan 'scared to death' as she halts Loose Women to make exciting career announcement

Coleen Nolan halted the latest edition of Loose Women as she made an exciting career announcement alongside Fleur East.

X Factor star Fleur had been discussing her forthcoming role as co-host alongside Vernon Kay for The National Lottery's Big Bash, set to air on New Year's Eve. Coleen, from Blackpool, excitedly told her fellow panellists Kaye Adams, Myleene Klass, and Judi Love that she would be performing at the event with her Loose Women colleagues.

"Can I just say it's the 25th anniversary of Mamma Mia, and it's the 25th anniversary of Loose Women? " Coleen declared. She went on to say, "So us three Loose Women, me, Linda Robson, and Penny Lancaster - we're joining with the Mamma Mia team to do a big performance with all of the costumes on."

The audience clapped as Coleen confessed: "We only have 24 hours to rehearse it. I mean, I'm scared to death."

Adding to her admission, the singer-turned-presenter stated: "I wake up in the morning and think, 'Why did I say yes to this? ' but it's going to be an amazing night. The fact that it's New Year's Eve, and I have no idea what song we are singing, though."

Fleur then disclosed that the trio would be performing Abba's Waterloo in honour of the song's 50th anniversary, leading Coleen to exclaim, "I can't wait!", the Mirror reports.

The Big Bash is set to take place at OVO Arena Wembley and will feature performances from Craig David, Olly Alexander, and the House Gospel Choir, among others. An emotional tribute will also be paid to the 80th Anniversary of D-Day.

The event will also highlight extraordinary individuals who made a difference to others in 2024, thanks to National Lottery funding.
