Coleen Rooney left 'shocked' after recent visit to husband Wayne in Plymouth
Coleen Rooney was reportedly left 'shocked' after a recent visit to her husband, Wayne, in Plymouth. She is now said to be concerned that the Plymouth Argyle FC coach is not properly looking after himself and his health since moving down to Devon.
The couple, who have been married for 16 years and have four sons together, have been managing a long-distance relationship since Wayne was appointed head coach at the EFL championship team earlier this year.
But now, it seems the 260 mile distance between the pair, and Wayne's solitary lifestyle, may be taking its toll, as a source claimed Coleen has launched a major health intervention due to her 'shock' when she recently visited her husband, reports the Mirror.

The source told Heat magazine: "Coleen got a bit of a shock when she saw Wayne recently. She’s worried he’s not taking enough care of himself now that he’s living on his own.
"It was always going to be a big adjustment for him when he gave up playing football professionally. He was at the peak of his fitness during that time. Coleen made sure he ate healthily and he was always running about and playing footie with the boys.
"Now, she feels he’s not putting himself first, and worries that he’s struggling to cope without her looking after him."
The source went on to claim that Coleen's response has been to put Wayne on a diet, and implement a strict exercise routine to ensure he's keeping his health and fitness in check while they are apart.
This health kick comes just as Wayne approaches his 39th birthday, a milestone that will see the family reunite for a celebratory trip.
The source disclosed: "She’s decided to put him on a bit of a health and fitness kick ahead of his 39th birthday next month, as she wants him to look and feel his best when they go away for a few days to celebrate."
Coleen made the decision not to join her husband Wayne Rooney in leaving their Cheshire family home. In a recent conversation with the Mail on Sunday, Wayne mentioned that Coleen would not accompany him to the South West to live in Devon.
Coleen, 38, will remain at their £20m mansion in Cheshire with their children, explained a source to Closer magazine. This choice was said to be influenced by Coleen's wish to fortify their marital bond while staying in the North West.
The couple's representatives have been contacted for comment.
