Coleen Rooney is lined up to sign an eye-watering £1 MILLION ITV deal after I’m A Celebrity - with bosses keen for her to star in a major daytime show. ITV bosses are said to be eager to snap her up for flagship daytime programme Loose Women.

A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Coleen is set to become ITV’s new golden girl. She loves the idea of returning to telly and feels that now is her moment, especially as she’s more mature and her kids are older.

“She won a legion of fans with the way she handled herself during Wagatha and viewers find her down to earth and relatable. Coleen has always loved Loose Women and she’s said she would love to join as one of the panellists.

“She loves fearless, opinionated women like Jane Moore and would love to get involved and have her say on things. Coleen has stayed out of the spotlight for so long, some people might not think this would be the gig for her.

“But Coleen’s friends know her as someone sharp, intelligent and not afraid to speak her mind. She does lack confidence in public sometimes though, but Coleen has said she hopes her experience in the jungle will help her overcome this. She will definitely be speaking to Jane about Loose Women when she’s in camp.”

On the eve of the show, Coleen sat down with the media and explained: "My phone got taken off me when we landed. Like, when I came out of the airport. My last one was to Wayne, the kids were at school, so I’d already pre-spoken to them knowing that when I landed, they would have been at school. I just checked on everything.

"And then before that I spoke to my mum because she’s looking after the kids as well as Wayne. So it was just good luck and I just wanted to see if the kids got off to school ok. You say last phone call but you are checking up on them before then to see if they’re all fine and things done your final plans of things that’s going on at home.

"Not having that contact, I’d say up until now, has been the biggest thing. You get used to having your phone and speaking to people all the time, you feel a bit secluded from the world."
