Coleen Rooney has taken a "major" step in her career this week as she landed a new role. The 37-year-old has been married to former England, Everton and Manchester United footballer Wayne Rooney for 16 years, but is very much a household name in her own right.

The mum-of-four was inundated with deals after the high profile "Wagatha" court case in 2022. She has since written a book, and starred in her own dramatic documentary on Disney+, "The Real Wagatha Story", which aired last year.

Earlier this year Coleen, from Croxteth, announced she was to become the new lead ambassador for a Liverpool-based sports brand. And now Applied Nutrition has confirmed the "major new collaboration", as Coleen unveiled a giant billboard in central London yesterday to promote her ambassadorial role for the company.

The new role will see Coleen using Applied Nutrition products including Collagens, Diet Whey Protein, Protein bars plus vitamins and minerals. Brand bosses said Coleen will be actively promoting these products, which she personally uses to support her health & wellness and fits in with her busy lifestyle.

Coleen said: “Balancing my role as a mum and managing my personal life can be challenging, but it’s important for me to stay healthy and energised. I've always taken an interest in looking after myself and Applied Nutrition has impressed me because of the quality of their products. The collagen and the diet whey protein make a real difference and something I'm using whether at home, in the gym or enjoying my regular Reformer Pilates sessions.

“I actually grew up ten minutes from Applied Nutrition's manufacturing facility, so it feels like a perfect partnership. I’m excited to share their amazing products with others who are striving for a healthier lifestyle.”
