Coleen Rooney 'worried' about Wayne as he lives 260 miles away from family
Coleen Rooney has reportedly taken action after a recent visit to her husband Wayne left her 'shocked' and 'worried' about his self-care. The Wagatha Christie star has been living apart from Wayne since he took up the role of head coach at Plymouth Argyle.
Wayne, a former Everton and Manchester United player, is based 260 miles away from their family home in Cheshire, where Coleen remains with their four sons Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass. However, with Wayne spending much of his time alone, Coleen has reportedly put him on a health kick after getting a 'shock' during a recent visit.
A source told Heat magazine: "Coleen got a bit of a shock when she saw Wayne recently. She's worried he's not taking enough care of himself now that he's living on his own.," reports the Mirror. It was always going to be a big adjustment for him when he gave up playing football professionally. He was at the peak of his fitness during that time Coleen made sure he ate healthily and he was always running about and playing footie with the boys.

"Now, she feels he's not putting himself first, and worries that he's struggling to cope without her looking after him." According to the source, Coleen's solution is to put Wayne on a diet and provide him with an exercise regime to ensure he stays healthy while they are apart.
This lifestyle change comes ahead of his 39th birthday, when the family plans to celebrate together. A source revealed to Closer magazine: "She's decided to put him on a bit of a health and fitness kick ahead of his 39th birthday next month, as she wants him to look and feel his best when they go away for a few days to celebrate."
While Wayne Rooney gears up for a special celebration, Coleen has opted to stay at their lavish £20m Cheshire home. Opening up to the Mail on Sunday, Wayne explained that Coleen wouldn't be accompanying him to the South West. The decision to remain in the picturesque North West with their children is seen as Coleen's strategy to strengthen their relationship, instead of leaving their family abode in Cheshire, as some speculated.
Representatives for the couple have been approached by The Mirror for further insights into the matter.
