Will Colin Farrell be the lead in the Dumbo reboot?
It seems like everyone and their mum has been linked to the Tim Burton-directed live-action reboot of Dumbo and you can't really blame them, since The Jungle Book made ridiculous amounts of money and Beauty and the Beast is inescapable at the moment.
Will Smith was linked to the main role in the film, but that's not happening now, so Disney needs another A-list actor for the lead.
Enter Colin Farrell.
Deadline reports that Farrell, who appeared in last year's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, is in negotiations to play Holt, a father who has to look after his two kids following the tragic death of his partner.
Eva Green is set to be play trapeze artist Colette in the film, teaming up with Burton again after she starred in his most recent project, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.
Also set to appear in Dumbo is Danny DeVito, who famously worked with Burton in 1992's Batman Returns as the sinister Penguin.
If Dumbo doesn't really do it for you, Disney has plenty of other live-action remakes to get that nostalgia dollar, with sequels to The Jungle Book and Maleficent coming soon, as well as Tinker Bell with Reese Witherspoon.
Also did we mention Beauty and the Beast, starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens. It's kind of everywhere right now, isn't it?
