Colin Farrell Wants To Join Tinder Because It’s Easier Than Using Chat-Up Lines At 6am In Clubs

Colin Farrell has revealed he wants to join Tinder as it’s infinitely better than chatting up a girl in a club at 6am.

The actor insisted he wouldn’t be embarrassed to use dating sites like the app to find love and declared “f**k” the naysayers.

He said in an interview with website The Daily Beast: “I have friends who have met people on dating sites who have had really good relationships, and that’s great. F**k anyone else who says that’s bulls**t.”

The 39-year-old – who has sons, James, 12, from a relationship with Kim Bordenave, and six-year-old Henry, from a short romance with Alicja Bachleda-Curuś – hasn’t had a serious girlfriend in almost five years.

And the actor, below with ex Angelina Jolie, hinted he is considering a more mature way of hooking up the opposite the sex.

The True Detective 2 star, who recently starred in savage dating culture satire The Lobster, added: “Why is it a bastion of honesty and sharing of truth to chat someone up at 6am in a club with a belly full of Jack Daniels? That’s not exactly the real you either.”

Other celebrities looking for love who have joined Tinder include Hilary Duff, who previously declared the dating app was “cool”.
