Colombia’s national strike reaches one-month mark

The national strike in Colombia reached the one-month mark on Friday, May 28. Nationwide strikes started April 28 in Colombia as demonstrators protested against a proposed tax reform. The tax plan was later withdrawn by the government though, and protesters are now demanding health, educational, and police reforms.
