Colorado Police Investigate After Brawl Breaks Out at Children's Baseball Game

Police in Lakewood, Colorado, are seeking the public’s help in identifying a group of adults after a fight broke out at children’s baseball game on Saturday, June 15.

According to the Lakewood Police Department, coaches and parents, unhappy with a call during the game, “took over the field and began assaulting each other”.

Authorities said the game involved players that were seven years old, and was overseen by a 13-year-old umpire.

Footage posted by the Lakewood Police Department shows men and women punching and pushing each other, as others look on from the other side of the fence. The person who recorded the video can be heard remonstrating with those fighting.

Police said they were looking for any information related to the fight, but in particular, to identify a man in a white shirt who punched another person on the back of the head. Credit: Lakewood Police Department via Storyful
