A specialist ice cream shop in the west end has delighted fans by announcing it is set to reopen its doors.

Olivia's Gelateria, known for its bright orange pink exterior, shocked followers online by announcing two weeks ago it would be closing, with customers fearing the worst.

Originally opened back in 2021 on Crow Road, the team behind it say it is set to welcome customers back once again - just in time for the good weather.

Taking to Instagram, the Olivia's team wrote: "I’ve seen a lot of people asking about what’s happening with the ice cream shop on the corner of Crow Road. And it’s my pleasure to finally announce that within the next week, Olivia’s will be reopening

"We’ve changed up the menu a bit - expect lots of options for a simple breakfast, satisfying lunch, or indulgent dessert. And of course, we’re still serving up your favourite ice cream flavours throughout the year."

And that wasn't the only good news, they also revealed they will be offering afternoon tea.

They added: "Treat yourself to a Luxury Lunch For 1 as an upgrade from your usual meal deal… Or splash out with that special someone with our Tea For 2, whether it’s for a birthday, Mother’s Day, or just a Tuesday! We’re so excited to celebrate those memorable moments with you."

Asking people to keep an eye out for their doors reopening, they finished: "We can’t wait to welcome you all back with a coffee, mini cake and cinnamon bun straight from the oven."
