Comedian Sarah Millican says she's a winner after opening a bag of M&S treats. The star posted a picture of a mug decorated with the words "well done flower" alongside a packet of the store's Giant Buttons.

The milk chocolate treat appeared enormous as she balanced it on the top of the mug to show the scale. In a post on her Facebook account she wrote: "Marks and Spencer aren't messing about with their GIANT buttons.

"Photo description for blind and vision impaired smashers who have software that reads text aloud to them. It’s a bag of giant buttons, open, beside a Well Done Flower mug full of lovely dark coloured tea.

"Balanced on the edge of the mug is a f***ing massive chocolate button. Think the size of an Olympic medal. Not the thickness obvious. And also not gold. But ownership is definitely the sign of being a winner."

The comedian, who is currently on a world tour, is known for her smutty sense of humour and M&S responded in a similar vein. Posting on X, previously Twitter, the store said: "Size definitely matters when it comes to chocolate, Sarah!"

The picture sparked a major reaction from fans on both Facebook and X. Ana asked: "How many do you get in a packet? I'm guessing about 5?" Izzy added: "I mean not so much a giant chocolate button as a micro chocolate Frisbee?!"

Sandra said: "Oh I bought some last week for the cinema & they are huge! At least you can see them even when it’s dark." Vikki said: "The mint ones are AMAZING!!! if you've not tried them yet, highly recommend them.."

Referencing the M&S slogan Bevlar joked: "They aren't just large chocolate buttons though lol" And Chele said: "Size isn’t everything though is it - do they actually taste like chocolate or that cheap stuff." And Kelly queried: "Or is it a *tiny* mug."

One follower even asked "what is a button". Kelly questioned: "I'm in the USA. What's a button? Chocolate?Cookie? Inquiring minds wanna know." Andy explained: "Just chocolate, these are giant copy versions. Original Cadburys versions are roughly the size of a 1 cent coin. They are normally a young childrens sweet treat."

But one X user had different thoughts to everyone else. Paul wrote: "Everyone: that's a huge chocolate button. Me: MOVE IT QUICK BEFORE IT FALLS IN."
