A comedian from Victoria, Texas, impersonated intrepid meteorologist Jim Cantore as part of a series of extreme weather spoofs as Hurricane Nicholas bore down on the Gulf Coast.

The September 12 videos show Cody Shugart giving a live “weather update” while mimicking Cantore’s yelling cadence and mannerisms. The second half of the video shows Shugart ordering a drink at a Dairy Queen in his same outdoor hurricane voice.

Shugart frequently films himself in short comedy skits that he shares on his Facebook and TikTok pages.
