'It Is Coming Quick': Evacuations as Utah's Flatt Fire Nears Town of Enterprise

The Flatt Fire in Utah grew to 10,000 acres late on June 18, with the Iron County Sheriff’s Office saying evacuation orders were in place for areas near the town of Enterprise.

Autumn Lynn said she returned from work to be confronted by the fire’s approach to the town. “It is coming and it is coming quick,” she says in this video, showing the fire coming over the hills near the Enterprise post office.

Her videos also show the firefighter response, with retardent dropped from the air. “It’s pretty crazy,” Lynn told Storyful.

Enterprise Mayor Brandon Humphries told the Cedar City News that around 50 homes had been evacuated in the hills north of the town.
