Company Completes Eco-sustainable 3D Printed House Inspired By Wasp Nests

A company is 3D-printing eco-friendly homes made entirely of sustainable, recyclable materials and they are inspired by wasp nests. Italian firm WASP (World’s Advanced Saving Project) has completed the printing phase of the TECLA structure. They say it is the first fully 3D printed construction based on natural materials and made with multiple 3D printers operating at the same time. The structure has been inspired by the nest of the potter wasp. The final installation of TECLA and its presentation are scheduled for Spring 2021.
