Competitive Eater Attempts World Record for Most Chicken Nuggets Eaten in One Minute

Model and competitive eater Nela Zisser tried for the world record for the most chicken nuggets eaten in one minute, sharing her endeavor to her YouTube channel in November 2020.

The New Zealander put down 298 g (10.51 oz) of nuggets in one minute, weighing the food before and after for accuracy and eating in front of two official timers, she said in the video.

“Pretty happy with that,” Zisser said, though she would not know the number until calculating later – 16 nuggets, onscreen text declares.

Guinness World Records reposted Zisser’s eat feat on their official YouTube in December.

According to Guinness, the most chicken nuggets eaten in one minute is 315 g (11.11 oz), and was achieved by Todd Fernley in Washington, DC, on September 15, 2020. Credit: Nela Zisser via Storyful
