A Complete 2020 Guide to Fall TV Shows (From ‘PEN15’ to ‘The Boys’)

Thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, we’ve completely annihilated our streaming queues on just about every platform. Well, (good news!) several major networks have released their fall 2020 slates, which means we can finally say “ta-ta” to reruns of The Office and “hello” to season two of PEN15.

Here are six must-watch premieres, followed by a complete list of new and returning fall TV shows.

1. 'The Boys'

Premiere date: September 4

Network: Amazon Prime

Meet the Boys, an ultra-powerful group of superheroes. Together, they team up to expose the truth about their world. Season two will pick up right where the first installment left off, so keep your capes at a close range.

2. 'Undercover'

Premiere date: September 6

Network: Netflix

Inspired by real events, the series follows a group of undercover agents who infiltrate a massive drug operation. Think of it as the Belgian-Dutch version of The Americans.

3. 'PEN15'

Premiere date: September 18

Network: Hulu

If you loved season one, be sure to tune in to the all-new episodes, which offer a real-life depiction of middle school. PEN15 will remind you of the days when a simple gel pen rumor seemed like the end of the world.

4. 'Bless the Harts'

Premiere date: September 27

Network: FOX

Looking for a feel-good distraction? Introducing Bless the Harts, an animated series about a Southern family who are desperate to achieve the American dream.

5. 'Emily in Paris'

Premiere date: TBD

Network: Netflix

When Emily (a Midwestern native) moves to Paris, she’s forced to adjust to her new independent lifestyle. *Cue the foreign love interest*

6. 'The Bachelorette'

Premiere date: TBD

Network: ABC

The Bachelorette was supposed to premiere earlier this year, but everything—we repeat, everything—has changed. Not only did Clare Crawley quit the show, but she’s already been replaced by Tayshia Adams. From forbidden romances to unexpected departures, fans better buckle up for a wild ride.
