'Complete Chaos' as Several Protesters Arrested Near Netanyahu’s Home

At least nine people were arrested and three injured during an anti-government protest in Jerusalem on Monday night, June 17, following the recent dismantling of the Gaza war cabinet by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Footage by Israeli journalist Roni Green Shaulov shows protesters who were calling for a general election marching from the Knesset, the Israeli parliament, towards Netanyahu’s residence.

“Complete chaos and severe conflicts,” Shaulov wrote on X, where he posted videos of the fractious scenes.

This follows Netanyahu’s decision to dissolve his war cabinet after the departure of centrist opposition leader Benny Gantz and his ally Gadi Eisenkot. Credit: Roni Green Shaulov via Storyful
