Complimentary drinks offer and events at Leicester's Caribbean-inspired restaurant

A Leicester restaurant and cocktail bar is celebrating its first anniversary with a series of events and a complimentary drink. The Caribbean-inspired 3 Little Birds, in the city's Hinckley Road, has had an “incredible” first year, a spokesperson for the venue said.

Menu “favourites” include Marley Style Loaded Fries, Birdies Sweetcorn Riblets, Auntie’s Mac & Cheese, Birdies Curry Bowl, alongside their Bottomless Brunch and Jerk Sunday Roast. From today (Friday, November 8) through to Sunday (November 10), a number of events will be held to celebrate the milestone.

The restaurant will also be offering a complimentary drink with all table bookings until Sunday. A spokesperson for 3 Little Birds said: “Our first year has been incredible for us, welcoming so many new and now regular customers. Whether visiting for cocktails, for brunch, or dinner, we’re so excited to be able to celebrate our first birthday with everybody.”

The events kick off today, where guests will eat with entertainment from Magic Amit, “one of the Midlands’ premier magicians”. The spokesperson also revealed that the venue will play host to a live DJ on Saturday for 3 Little Birds' bottomless brunch between 12pm and 3pm.

From 7pm to 9pm, the sounds of the steel drum will fill the restaurant as Zola Steelpan bring their “bright and colourful” music. DJ Barney will wrap up Saturday’s lineup with “the best in reggae, soul, revival and R&B”. On Sunday, DJ Daddy Fishead will play the best of reggae throwbacks from 4.30pm onwards.
