Conan O'Brien pitched himself to play a sex worker in “The White Lotus” season 3: 'I'm available'

"I could do that. I could play a part where I'm a male gigolo or something," the comedian joked.

Conan O'Brien is looking to experience the debauchery of The White Lotus — and not just as a viewer.

O'Brien pitched himself to series creator Mike White during a chance encounter in Bangkok, the comedian told season 3 cast member Walter Goggins in the Aug. 19 episode of his Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend podcast.

"Before you guys started shooting The White Lotus, I ran into none other than Mike White in a restaurant,” said O’Brien, adding that the duo quickly got to talking since it wasn’t their first time meeting. “I said, ‘Hey, so the next season of The White Lotus, you’re going down to Thailand, right?’ And he said, ‘Yeah.’ And I said, ‘I was there. I had a great time. I made a lot of friends.’”

O’Brien then moved in for the pitch: “I said, ‘If there’s a part for me, I’m available.’"

White's reaction? "He looked at me and he said, 'You know, there’s a lot of sex work there,'" O'Brien recounted, to which he replied, “I could do that.”

Goggins and hosts, Sona Movsesian and Matt Gourley, were clearly taken aback, so O’Brien quickly amended his words. “I could play a part where I’m a male gigolo or something.”

After a bout of laughter, Goggins recovered and offered some words of encouragement: “Yes, you could do that. I believe that you could do that” he said.

"Do you think I could play that part or do you think I actually could be a gigolo?” O’Brien joked.

“Well, I think you could do both," Goggins said. "I think you could play that part and you could be that person in real life.”

O’Brien: “I appreciate that.”

O’Brien is certainly not the first to plead for a place in the messy resort-centric series. Elizabeth Banks, who starred in the White-penned animated feature Migration, recently demanded that he cast her in the show, too.

"I want to be murdered so badly on The White Lotus," she told White on Live With Kelly and Mark. "Kill me. Please, kill me." She even implored hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos to help out, adding, "Tell him!"

While White has yet to give into their demands, the upcoming installment of The White Lotus touts another star-studded cast and plenty more satirized drama. After spending its first season in Hawaii and its second in Sicily, the anthology series heads to Thailand for another terrible vacation featuring affluent guests and unfortunate employees interacting at the titular White Lotus hotel chain.

Season 3 will be “longer, bigger, crazier,” White teased while speaking to Entertainment Weekly last year, adding, "I don't know what people will think, but I am super excited, so at least for my own barometer, that's a good thing.... I'm super excited about the content of the season."

The third season sees the return of Natasha Rothwell as Belinda, alongside several fresh faces, including Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Francesca Corney, Nicholas Duvernay, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong, and Aimee Lou Wood.
