'When we conceive, everyone who has donated will have played a part' - couple's dream to complete their family
A Sheffield couple are crowdfunding to complete their family through IVF.
Sophia Myczko, 31, and her wife Becks have been married for a year and are now looking to have a child together. However, as Sophia has a stepdaughter the couple are not eligible for IVF treatment on the NHS.
They tried to look for a private donor but were unable to find someone suitable and so they are now pursuing IVF privately. When asked what it would mean to be able to have a child together for Sophia and Becks, Sophia said: "It would mean everything.

"We are so grateful for people who have donated. When we have been able to conceive (through IVF), everyone who has donated will have played a part in that, which is really nice.
"We're just really excited to be able to have a child together, to bring our family together with my stepdaughter as well and give her a sibling. That's all I've ever wanted to do, is be a mother. I didn't want the fact that we were unable to conceive naturally to be able to stop us. I will find a way."

The IVF treatment will cost around £10,000, however they have managed to reduce the costs by Sophia donating some of her eggs. Now, Sophia and Becks are trying to raise £4,000 for the treatment.
Despite the costs, there is no guarantee of success, and Sophia added: "We haven't actually even started anything yet, but have just sort of been researching and following other people on TikTok, going through the same things. It's quite scary but we're just sort of taking each step as it comes and trying not to think too far ahead."
Sophia has found support through an online group, Rainbows Families Yorkshire, who meet up and support each other. The group has helped Sophia and her family a great deal, offering friendly advice and help.
To assist in raising the money, Sophia has set up a GoFundMe, and has managed to raise £345, which has gone towards paying for a scan and consultation. Sophia said: "It's really amazing, really surprising, because there's people that have donated which I've not spoken to in ages.
"There's a girl that's donated that I go to her to pay to do my eyelashes and things."
Sophia added: "I just feel like, well appreciating and saying thank you, it just doesn't feel like its enough to say, because it just would be everything. I don't how to even put that into words."
