Concern for woman assaulted in Nuneaton street as police urge 'please contact us'
Police say they are concerned for the welfare of a woman attacked in a street in Nuneaton. A witness reported seeing a woman being assaulted in Waverley Avenue at around 12.44pm on Saturday (November 16).
They also saw a man put a child in the back of a car before the woman climbed in. The man and woman were said to be arguing, and the witness reported seeing the man acting aggressively towards the woman.
Now detectives say they are concerned for the woman and are urging her or anyone who knows her to come forwards. They say the car is believed to be a dark coloured small hatchback; possibly a Ford with a 59 registration plate.
