Concerns grow for Airdrie teenager missing for three days

Police are appealing for the public's help tp trace a missing Airdrie teenager who disappeared three days ago.

Candise McIntyre was last seen leaving an address in Plains at around 7pm on Monday.

The 16-year-old has not been seen since and there are growing concerns for her welfare.

Candise is described as 5ft 5in, of slim build, with long brown hair and green eyes.

When last seen she was wearing a green Nike top, grey denim shorts and white Nike trainers.

A police spokesperson told Lanarkshire Live: "Candise has links to Dunbartonshire, Fife and Glasgow.

"Anyone who may have seen Candise since the time of her disappearance, or who has any information which could be relevant, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0065 of June 4."
