Concerns grow for missing Edinburgh pensioner, 82, last seen near shopping centre

Officers are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a missing Edinburgh pensioner.

David Duncan, 82, was reported missing from the Little France area of the capital on Friday, September 6, at around 3.45pm.

Concerns are growing for his welfare and police are appealing for the public to come forward with information if they know his location. The 82-year-old has connections in the Mountcastle area of the city.

He is described as around 5ft 8ins, slim to medium build with short, grey hair. When last seen he was wearing a blue polo shirt, light brown chino style trousers and black trainers with a white sole.

Inspector Kenny Robertson said: “We need to make sure David is safe and well and we are asking anyone who has seen him or knows where he is to get in touch.

“He was last seen walking in the direction of Cameron Toll shopping centre and we are asking people in the area to keep a look out for David.”
