The Reader's Choice Awards are the "biggest and most influential" in the business, shining a light on the best places around the world.

CN Traveller ranked Belfast the fourth best city in the UK with a satisfaction score of 89.35 - moving up the ranks 4 places from eighth in 2023.

They said: "This underrated city is famous for being the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, but it is also known for its vibrant culture and art scene and welcoming locals.

"Set against a backdrop of handsome cobbled streets and dapper Edwardian buildings, Belfast is a must-see destination.

"Where to stay: At The Harrison, set in Victorian merchants' residences, given a colourful, light-hearted makeover. The hotel is close to some of the city's best cultural highlights, too."
