The Who Confirmed As Glastonbury Headliners

The Who have been confirmed as Glastonbury's final night headliners - a repeat of their appearance in the same slot eight years ago.

Organisers had already said Kanye West and Foo Fighters would be two of the three headline acts at Worthy Farm in Somerset.

The Who's lead singer Roger Daltrey said: "It's great to be ending this part of a 50-year career at the most prestigious and respected music festival in the world.

"We'll do our best to close this year's event with a bang, unless of course the fireworks get wet."

Earlier in the weekend, they will be playing London's Hyde Park, with the likes of the Kaiser Chiefs, Paul Weller and Johnny Marr.

The band - famous for albums such as Who's Next, Quadrophenia, and Tommy - are also on a world tour to mark their 50th anniversary.

Glastonbury confirmed the final headliner for next month's sold-out festival in a tweet.

"We're delighted to announce that The Who will headline Sunday night, with Paul Weller playing the penultimate slot," they wrote.
