Confirmed: Stoke City seal late deadline day deal for midfielder
Tatsuki Seko has signed for Stoke City on a three-year-contract.
The 26-year-old is heading to England for a new adventure in his career after two years at Kawasaki Frontale, where he made 93 appearances and won two domestic cups.
He joins for an undisclosed fee as Steven Schumacher and Jon Walters make sweeping changes to the midfield department in the final chapter of the summer window. Josh Laurent, Daniel Johnson and Lewis Baker have all left.

Walters said: “After our recruitment team identified Tatsuki, everyone that watched him was excited about what he could bring to our dynamic midfield group.
“Having brought in a player from the other side of the world, I believe we have a culture within our club that will help him settle quickly and I know our supporters will join me in making him feel part of the Stoke City family.”
Seko can play in any of the roles in a Schumacher midfield three and has a reputation for neat and tidy linking play. He was previously captain at Yokohama and he has captained Kawasaki too.
He said: “Having the chance to play in English football for Stoke City is a dream, and I can’t wait to get started.
“It is an exciting new chapter for me and my family, and I will work hard every day to be the best player I can be for this club.”
