Confirmed Tornado Sends Debris Flying in Los Angeles County

National Weather Service (NWS) survey crews in Los Angeles County said a confirmed tornado hit Montebello on Wednesday morning, March 22.

The tornado struck Montebello at 11.20 am, the NWS said. There was no EF rating as of Wednesday afternoon, as crews were still assessing the damage.

At least one person was injured as the tornado sent debris flying, local media reported.
