New footage has emerged which sheds light on the events which led to a shocking mass brawl following Khabib Nurmagomedov’s victory over Conor McGregor in the UFC 229.

The Las Vegas event descended into chaos after Nurmagomedov leapt out of the ring and attacked McGregor’s training partner Dillon Danis.

UFC President Dana White said he was “disgusted” by the melee – which commentator Joe Rogan blamed on Danis' taunting.

Now, a fresh clip has emerged of the circumstances which sparked the riot, involving the president of Nurmagomedov’s management agency.

Rizvan Magomedov can be seen taunting Danis in the immediate aftermath of the fight, slapping his back several times and saying something in his ear.

Danis then appears to push him away, which Nurmagomedov spots and quickly comes flying over the edge of the Octagon towards him.

The clip, shared by investigative journalist Mike Russell, ends as the brawl begins to break out, which was captured by various other people on mobile phones.

McGregor could also be seen trying to get involved, while members of Nurmagodemov’s team jumped into the Octagon and one punched him from behind.
