Cop Pulls Toddler and Grandmother From Burning Building

A woman and her three-year-old granddaughter were pulled from a house fire on June 21.

Footage released by the Hazelwood Police Department captured the dramatic rescue. According to the department, Officer Rodriguez was first to arrive on the scene, where he found the main floor of the house engulfed by flames.

He heard cries of help coming from the basement, and found the homeowner and young grandchild. He kicked in the basement window and got the child free, before enlisting the help of a neighbor to pull the homeowner out.
