Police say they are becoming "increasingly concerned" for a missing man who hasn't been seen since Thursday night.

Mathew Strike, 32, is reported missing from Irvine and was last seen around 9pm on Thursday, September 26, in the Livingstone Terrace area of the town.

Officers are carrying out local enquiries, however he may have travelled further afield and has access to a white Ford Transit van, registration number MW64 PLU.

Mathew is described as being around 5ft 7ins tall with brown hair. It is not known what he is wearing.

Sergeant Kevin Blackley said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Mathew`s wellbeing and would ask if anyone has seen him, his vehicle, or has any information as to where he might be, to please contact us.”

Anyone who can help is asked to call officers via 101, quoting reference number 0851 of 26 September.
