Corbyn: We are not fighting election to go into coalition

Labour Party launches its party manifesto in Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM, England (Reuters) - The leader of Britain's opposition Labour Party, Jeremy Corbyn, said on Thursday he was aiming to triumph in the Dec. 12 election, not just to win enough seats to form a coalition government.

"We're fighting this election to win as a Labour Party, we are not fighting the election to go into coalition with anybody," Corbyn added at his party's manifesto launch.
