A Corley burglary victim has made a plea to be reunited with a 'significant sentimental' item stolen from her home. Thieves raided the property of the woman, who has not been identified, on September 1.

They took a number of items but there is one that she especially wants to be reunited with. Police say that the piece of jewellery has significant sentimental value to her as it belonged to her deceased daughter.

It is a platinum and diamond cross approximately one-and-a-half inches in length. Nuneaton police officers have shared an image of the piece of jewellery in an appeal on social media.
